Having relocated from Fort Indiantown Army National Guard Installation, Gap, Pennsylvania, in 2012, the Professional Development Unit (PDU) has established its strategic headquarters at the Fort Drum military installation in New York State. The unit is dedicated to fostering the development of emerging professionals through invaluable instructional guidance.
Established by three veterans of the US Pennsylvania Army National Guard, who obtained Project Management Professional (PMP®) certifications from the Project Management Institute in Newton Square, Pennsylvania, PDU originated from their experiences with the 2000 PMBOK® Guide 2nd Edition.
Since its inception, PDU’s expert staff have delivered educational instruction to various entities, including the US government, US Armed Forces, and allies across numerous countries worldwide.
